Gartner mentioned SecurIT in their research document

September 2009 – In their new research document ‘Hype Cycle for Identity and Access

Management Technologies, 2009’ Gartner mentioned SecurIT as one of the vendors of Versatile Authentication Servers and Services (VAS).

A Versatile Authentication Server and Services simplify the migration to new authentication methods. The enterprise needs only to connect a new method into the VAS instead of customize the existing one or build a new one. It helps to decrease the costs of having multiple authentication servers or services.

Gartner sees an increase in the investment in authentication methods by enterprises during the next two and three years. More and more enterprises will want to support multiple methods to meet the needs of different use cases. This drives also the adoption for Versatile Authentication Servers and Services.

Being mentioned as one of the important vendors of a Versatile Authentication Servers or Services by Gartner, means that SecurIT’s  solution TrustBuilder is one of the best products in the market at the moment.

Based on multiple years of experience, SecurIT has developed a framework with plug-in modules to provide these functions out-of-the-box and thus less costly. Moreover, production-proven modules are used which provides a robust and failure-free implementation.

TrustBuilder® comes in two flavors:

TrustBuilder C-Man runs as a shared library on WebSEAL and hooks into the CDAS interface;

TrustBuilder Server is provided as a backend service available through a web (html) or web service (SOAP) interface and it hooks into the CDAS or EAI interfaces of WebSEAL.
