Executive Board

The Executive Board of SecurIT is formed by three people, each having their own area of special attention, i.e. general management, operational management and technical management. Together they also own 100% of the company's shares.

General Management
M. Vanmaele, CEO SecurIT
Marc is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of SecurIT. In addition to his General Management task, he also looks after the commercial activities. Marc has over 30 years of experience in ICT with large organizations around networking, systems development and infrastructure solutions. Marc holds a Bachelor of Electronics from the Hogeschool of Gent. Prior to creating SecurIT in 1999, he was managing international large projects at Philips and co-owner of Management Software Benelux, a value added distributor for software to large enterprises. He is a recognized authority in the field of Identity & Access Management and renowned speaker at several conferences over the past years.

Operational Management
Rob Bus, COO SecurIT
 

Rob is Chief Operating Officer and Shareholder of SecurIT and manages the field operations in the Benelux, product development and represents the legal entity in The Netherlands. He has almost 30 years of experience in the ICT industry in systems development, project management, as well as in senior consulting and executive positions. Rob holds a Bachelor of ICT from the Hogeschool van Amsterdam and many accreditations such as chartered IT professional (VRI) and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner. Prior to joining SecurIT in 2001, Rob served as Executive VP for public company Management Share, responsible for operations, finance and investor relations. Since 2001, Rob and his team conducted a large series of recognized successful Identity Management projects. With Rob’s breath of technical experience he regularly addresses conventions on the topic of successfully implementing I&AM technology.

 
Technical Management
Nils Meulemans, CTO SecurIT
Nils is Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of SecurIT. He holds a Master in Computer Science from the V.U.B. and was involved for several years in standardisation and early piloting projects around X.500 and LDAP directories. In August 1999 he became co-founder of SecurIT, where he now holds the position of CTO. Nils has been involved in several Identity and Access Management projects both within and outside the Benelux. The last years he has specialized himself in Identity Data Service technology. From his specialization, he was one of the developers of SecurITs TrustBuilder and currently he works at the new release of this product.
